The procedure for computing each score

The above score of an amino acid at each position was computed by first dividing the occururence ratio of an amino acid to all amino acids by the composition ratio of this amino acid to all amino acids and then taking the logarithm of this.

We used the following amino acid composition ratio from UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot protein knowledgebase release 53.3 statistics:
